Unless an item specifies *FREE DELIVERY* the cost of delivery of an item is determined by it's size. Generally, our items fall into the category of those that must be calculated by dimensional weight. This is simply a formula used by Royal Mail and courier companies to calculate the space an object requires for shipping - in other words, the cost to them. If an item is extremely large and heavy, it may simply not be viable to post. For this reason, once you have selected the art you wish to purchase, you will be asked to select the delivery method.

For the type of items mentioned above (those few that are particularly large) it may be that there are no delivery options highlighted (these items will specify this within their 'description') and the item is for 'collection only'. In other cases an item may be available to be delivered within the UK but not automatically abroad. Unfortunately this is simply due to the cost of couriering bulky goods. If delivery costs are of no object to you or collection is a particular problem, please do not hesitate to contact us. In the case of the latter we may be able to come to an arrangement such as meeting at a local art establishment ArtKandy visits.

The cost of insurance and compensation for lost/damaged items in transit will normally be included within the delivery price of an item. For items over a certain value, Royal Mail's Special Delivery service is generally used in order to ensure the package reaches you safely and it's value is insured throughout it's journey. The postage value printed on the front of the delivered package is the price of the postage only and does not take into consideration packaging and couriering time and expenses.

Please note: If you are a customer buying multiple items that all have the same delivery address and each of the items has an individual delivery price attached - where possible these items will be packaged together and the extra delivery cost will be refunded in the form of a cheque payable to yourself included within the package. ArtKandy's delivery prices are calculated to ensure no party loses out and the customer receives value for money.
